New £7.9m Pewsey leisure centre to open this month

The Vale Community Campus, the new leisure centre in Pewsey, Wiltsire, is set to open on Wednesday 28 November.

The redeveloped centre offers a state-of-the-art fitness suite, a new four-lane 25m swimming pool with family-friendly village changing facilities, fitness studio, sports hall with cricket nets, meeting rooms and a café with atrium over-looking the pool.

The centre will provide swimming lessons for young people, as well as a full timetable of swimming and group exercise classes.

Parking is free for up to three hours, and electric car charging points have been provided.

John Thomson, cabinet member for the campus programme, said, 'We're really pleased that the campus will open later this month. The local community has been at the heart of this new centre, helping with the design and range of facilities that will be available to residents in Pewsey and the surrounding area.

'The new centre has seen an investment of almost £7.9m in the Pewsey area, to provide a range of excellent leisure and community facilities.'

To celebrate the opening of the campus, the first 100 people to sign-up for a new Life Zone, Fitness Zone or Swim Zone leisure membership will not have to pay the administration fee and will get their first full month of membership for free.

There are a variety of memberships available and there is the option of starting your membership straight away, or waiting until the new centre opens. The offer is available now. For full details, please go online or speak to staff at The Vale Fitness Suite.
