First wave of Toby Carvery revamps completed

Construction group Medlock has successfully completed the first wave of Toby Carvery refurbishments across the North.

Venues in Hull, Barnsley, Newcastle, York and Cannock have benefited from a comprehensive refurbishment throughout. Another venue in Burton will be handed over shortly.

At each of the Toby Carvery restaurants, the interior was fully refurbished over a three-week shutdown as part of the company's ongoing investment into the ‘Home of the Roast’, one of the nation’s favourite brands. Each exterior has also been updated with a programme of new decoration and signage.

In Hull, the Inn Keepers Lodge (pictured) also benefited from a thorough refurbishment programme. All 32 bedrooms were stripped back before each one was completely fitted-out to the latest brand design with new bathrooms, cased goods and decoration to walls, floors and ceilings.

The upgraded rooms provide guests with a warm, welcoming and comfortable environment in which to enjoy their stay. The reception area and all corridors were also given a sparkling new look.
