Central England Co-operative has opened the doors to its refurbished Food Store in Dudley following a major investment.
The Dibdale Road store has been given a £206k makeover and members and customers will benefit from improved sections for chilled snacking, food to go and beers, wines and spirits, a Costa Coffee machine, new decoration and signage and LED lighting.
The product range has been updated throughout the store to better reflect customers’ requirements and to provide a better shopping experience with the introduction of breaks in the aisles.
Store Manager Carl Smitheman said, “Our team has been so excited. The revamp looks fantastic and already customers have been making many positive comments about how it looks.
“I would like to thank our members and customers for their patience during the refurbishment and I hope they enjoy the changes as much as we do.
“All of us here at Dibdale Road Food Store are proud to be part of such a great community in Dudley and are looking forward to welcoming customers, new and old, to come and enjoy our Food Store.”
The Dibdale Road, Dudley Food Store is open 7am to 10pm Monday to Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sundays.
The store has a wide range of products from everyday necessities to something a little more special. The offer includes fresh and local fruit and vegetables, an instore bakery, chilled beers and wines, fresh and frozen produce and Irresistible product ranges. The store also offers Paypoint, Lottery, free cash machine, Collect Plus, a defibrillator and parking.
