New F&B Manager appointed at AC Hotel Manchester City Centre

Scott Lynch has been appointed Food & Beverage Manager at the newly-opened AC Hotel Manchester City Centre, a 172-guest room hotel by Marriott.

Lynch brings almost a decade of experience, previously working at iconic fine dining Manchester restaurant, Manchester House, where he developed an extensive know-how of gins, signature cocktails, fine wines and taster menus.

Lynch will bring a plethora of expertise from his previous work within the bar and restaurant industry, including the Manchester night club scene, Spanish restaurant Robinson Crusoe’s and his managerial role at Brownsword owned by Abode Manchester.

To celebrate the opening of the new hotel, Lynch has created a signature gin and tonic, incorporating a fusion of Spanish and Mancunian flavours – Manchester Raspberry Infused Gin served with Fevertree Mediterranean Tonic and garnished with fresh Raspberries and dehydrated Spanish orange.

The drink is a nod to the hotel’s combination of Spanish roots and European soul with Manchester’s charm and design influences for a modern but comfortable look and feel.

Lynch said, “I am delighted to join the team at AC Manchester City Centre in my new role as Food and Beverage Manager. After discovering the AC brand married with my Spanish experience perfectly, I instantly knew that the AC Hotel would be the right place to put my knowledge, experience and personality to excellent use, allowing the blend between Spanish and Mancunian to become one”.

AC Hotels opened its first purpose-built hotel in mainland UK in the heart of Manchester city centre in October. The new modern luxury hotel will feature a Spanish-European kitchen, bar, library, function facilities and a relaxing co-working space, the AC Lounge.
