A high-end restaurant, previously operating under the name Bosvena, in the historic market town of Bodmin, Cornwall, has been sold through Christie & Co to experienced local operators.
Occupying a Georgian town house in the centre of the town, overlooking the square, the property underwent a complete renovation in 2014 before opening as Bosvena.
The site features four separate dining rooms and two kitchens set over three floors, with an attractive courtyard outside providing additional seating.
Bosvena built up a loyal clientele and numerous positive reviews for its high quality food, however it was closed in 2016, leaving a gap in the local restaurant circuit.
Aiming to fill that gap are new owners, Ray and Elena Veerman, who also own the popular Racehorse Inn in North Hill village near Launceston, and plan to reopen the restaurant on 29th March under its new name, Florys.
The Veerman's said, “It is a wonderful opportunity to provide a quality eatery and restaurant for Bodmin and the surrounding area. We will be utilising excellent Cornish produce and providing a crowd pleasing but innovative menu at reasonable prices.”
