Eggslut launches first UK site with 10 more planned

As Caterlyst reported back in December, US food concept, Eggslut was coming to the UK this year.

Now, the cult fast-casual brand has just launched its first site in Portobello Road, Notting Hill, with plans to launch 10 more across the UK.

UK suppliers at the new spot include Clarence Court, Bread Ahead and Nude Coffee Roasters.

Iconic eats include the Slut, made with a coddled egg on top of a smooth potato purée, poached in a glass jar, topped with gray salt and chives, served with slices of baguette, plus the Egg Salad - cage-free hard boiled eggs and thinly sliced chives mixed in honey mustard aioli with dressed arugula in a warm brioche bun.

There’s also the Fairfax (pictured), made with soft scrambled eggs and chives, cheddar cheese, caramelized onions and sriracha mayo, all in a warm brioche bun.

There's one sweet extra - Salted Chocolate Chip Cookie - dark chocolate chip cookie, topped with gray salt, baked fresh every morning.

For beverages, there's a selection of hot and cold brewcoffee, juices and fizzy drinks.

The new site is open from Monday to Sunday, from 8am to 5pm.

Eggslut opened its flagship location in 2013, inside the Grand Central Market in Los Angeles, to both customer and critical acclaim. There are now 5 sites in the US and one in Kuwait.
