Reubens, the only kosher restaurant in London's West End, is set to reopen under new ownership next month, following a major revamp.
Lee Landau from S Group, the collection of kosher restaurants Soyo, Pizaza and Delicatessen, has taken on the site and, beyond the refurb, plans to launch a new restaurant downstairs at a later date.
The new menu will feature deli classics such as salt beef sandwiches, schnitzel and chicken soup, according to the Evening Standard.
The iconic Baker Street restaurant closed after 46 years in business, due to a family bereavement.
Landau commented ‘We are thrilled to be giving Reubens another lease of life, whilst importantly maintaining the integrity of this well-loved institution.’

The S Group also has more sites under development that will be launching in the coming months.
