Bella Italia to drive footfall with Family Games Hour

Bella Italia, the leading Italian-style family restaurant, has partnered with global play and entertainment company, Hasbro, to launch a Family Games Hour at selected UK sites, in order to drive footfall and enhance its family customer experience.

Between 15:00 and 17:00 every day, classic board games including Jenga, Connect 4 and Guess Who, will be available to play at select Bella Italia sites across the UK.

The new games hour forms part of Bella Italia’s ambition to innovate and encourage quality family time and memorable experiences whilst dining.

Marc Saunders, Head of Brand for Bella Italia, said, “At Bella we are always looking at how we can partner with like-minded businesses to drive engagement and footfall. The allure of gadgets and technology means young children are shunning traditional games for their devices, but a board game is a great way to bond as a family.

“Combined with the launch of our new winter menu, we’re confident that the new Hasbro partnership will further strengthen Bella Italia’s position as the leading place for families to choose when eating out of home.”

Bella Italia’s new winter menu includes over 15 new dishes inspired by classic Italian favourites and the continued popularity of vegetarianism and veganism.

The range of winter warmers include: Conchiglione Basilicata, giant shell pasta filled with a spicy Basilicata sausage, baked with tomato and bechamel sauce; Arancini Pollo, crispy risotto rice balls filled with chicken, sundried tomatoes and mozzarella; and Risotto Zucca, a vegan dish of butternut squash risotto with roasted leeks, sundried tomato and spinach.
