Super 8 Restaurants enters Sunday Times Fast Track 100

Super 8 Restaurants Ltd has been ranked at Number 31 on the 23rd annual Sunday Times Virgin Atlantic Fast Track 100. The group has recorded an astiunding annual rise of 83.19% over the past three years.

Super 8 operates three London restaurants. Its first, Smoking Goat, opened in the West End in 2014 and has since moved to Shoreditch.

Next was Kiln, in Soho, winner of last year’s National Restaurant Awards. Both are influenced by the cuisine of northern Thailand.

The latest, the Basqueinspired Brat, is the Michelin-starred result of a partnership with the Welsh chef Tomos Parry; its menu includes beef tartare, wood pigeon and whole turbot.

Founded by directors Brian Hannon and Ben Chapman, the company buys many of its ingredients from Cornwall and butchers animals in-house. Sales grew to £7.2m this year and the company now has 114 staff.

The Sunday Times Fast Track 100 is a list published annually in December in partnership with The Sunday Times newspaper. It ranks Britain's fastest growing privately held companies by sales growth (% per annum) over the last 3 years.
