Punch snaps up Norwich pub

Independent pub company, Punch Pubs & Co has completed the acquisition of The Dog House pub located in the centre of Norwich.

The traditional pub offering downstairs is complimented by the private function area on the second floor, together with a spacious outdoor patio area.

It specialises in private functions, events, and live music. In addition to the large main pub area, there is a private first floor bar, The Kennel, which can accommodate up to 120 people, ideal for parties and celebrations.

The pub serves up a vibrant range of cocktails, gin, wines and beers, and food-wise, it offers a bar menu that includes tapas, sharing platters and snacks.

Punch’s Chief Executive Officer, Clive Chesser said, “We are pleased to welcome the Dog House into the Punch family and look forward to working together with our new Publicans and their teams. We have plans to invest in the pub and relaunch in time for summer trading.

'We look forward to providing further updates as these plans progress, but in the meantime, the Dog House will continue to be open and trading as usual.”

Punch owns and operates c.1,250 pubs across England, Scotland and Wales. It has ambitious plans to unlock the potential in pubs and possibilities for entrepreneurs and communities across the UK by investing over £34 million in its people and pubs in the next year.
