£2.75m Georgian hotel in Oxfordshire for sale

A 21-bed Georgian hotel, situated beside the World Heritage site of Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire, has been brought to market by Colliers International for £2.75m.

The Feathers, in Market Street, Woodstock, is made up of five connected Grade II-listed townhouses with unique individual suites, as well as a restaurant with 60 covers and a bar accommodating 20 covers.

There is also a beautiful courtyard at the back of the hotel, as well as one-bed accommodation for staff.

The hotel is in a perfect location for domestic visitors as well as international tourists due to its close proximity to Blenheim Palace, the Cotswolds, Oxford and Bicester Village.

Peter Brunt, director of Hotels Agency for Colliers International, said, “This is a rare opportunity to take on a business which is not only attractive to international tourists with a World Heritage site right next door, as well as the beautiful Cotswolds which is also a haven for UK visitors. It is a popular destination all year round.

“The hotel is beautifully presented and includes lots of period features, with modern comforts and design. The restaurant is frequented by guests and locals alike, and there are opportunities to tailor the business to your own needs.”

In the year ending March 2019, the business, which has been privately owned since 1999, has provided more than £1m net revenue, with 51% of the business from the profitable room lettings.
