The Quality Hotel, Dudley has been brought to market through Christie & Co, with an asking price of £3.25m.
Located in the heart of the West Midlands, the hotel stands on a prominent 1.4-acre and comprises 72 ensuite rooms.
The hotel is being operated by the current owners under a 20-year Franchise Agreement with Choice Hotels, as part of their Quality Hotel brand. This agreement has six years remaining, however early termination can also be considered to allow for rebranding options.
The current owners have decided to sell to concentrate their efforts on existing businesses located in the south.
Josh Sullivan, Senior Agent in Christie & Co Hotel’s team, who is managing the sale, said, “The Quality Hotel is a prime opportunity for an experienced operator to capitalise upon the potential rebranding and asset management opportunities for the site.
'Equally, an operator is poised to benefit from the planned £1 billion investment in Dudley town centre and surrounding areas through key regeneration projects.'
The Quality Hotel is well connected with the rest of the Midlands and is only a 20-minute drive into Birmingham City centre. The hotel receives strong corporate business, due to Dudley being a large industrialised market town, whilst nearby local attractions such as Dudley Zoo, The Black Country living museum, and Dudley Castle drive leisure bookings. It is also a popular wedding and event venue for the local community.
