Canadian-inspired brunch eatery, West 4th Kitchen & Wine Bar is landing in Parsons Green, London SW6, on the New King's Road.
West 4th, named after Vancouver's West 4th Avenue, will be a 60-cover restaurant by day - offering a menu from Canada's west coast, and a wine and charcuterie bar by night. There will also be a private room for events available.
Founders are Parsons Green locals, Livia Boumeester and Louisa Stevenson-Hamilton, who were so inspired by a visit to Vancouver's West 4th Avenue, that they wanted to recreate it back home.
Joseph Berney, formally at Scott’s and Clipstone, will be leading the kitchen, which will be serving up Poutine - the classic dish of french fries and cheese curds topped with a brown gravy. These will include breakfast poutine with poached eggs, maple bacon lardons, topped with hollandaise sauce.
There will be Pancake and Waffle Stacks, with flavours including Lockdown Banana Bread and Campfire S’mores.
Eggs Benedict 'Bennys' (pictured) can come with Sockeye Smoked Salmon or Smashed Pea and Broad Bean, or Canadian Maple-Cured Bacon.
There will also be Charcuterie boards along with other yet-to-be-revealed small plates
For drinks, there will be a DIY Bloody Mary bar, cocktails, and a curated wine list.
