London Restaurant Festival has announced the winners of this year’s London Restaurant Festival Awards at a star-studded ceremony held last night (5 November) at Hyatt Regency London - The Churchill. Hosted by festival founder Simon Davis, the awards celebrate the best and brightest stars in the London dining scene.

The London Restaurant Festival (LRF), in partnership with American Express, returned for its 10th year with a line-up of some of the world’s top chefs jetting into London to celebrate the city’s ‘Top Ten Cuisines’. Over 400 restaurants took part in the festival, welcoming over 50,000 people across the capital.

The winners are:
• Most Popular Festival Menu: STK
• Best Festival Menu Under £30: Salt Yard
• Best Festival Menu Over £30: The Square
• Most Welcoming Front of House: The Ivy
• Restaurant Bar of the Year: The Blue Posts
• Maverick of the Year: Club Mexicana at The Spread Eagle
• Most Inspiring Interior Design: Brigadiers
• Event of The Festival: Eat Art at the Saatchi Gallery
• Influencer of the Year: Dominic Rowntree (@samphireandsalsify)
• Newcomer of the Year: Indian Accent
• Dish of the Year: Beef Tartare, Stem
• Chef of the Year: James Knappett
• Outstanding Contribution to the Restaurant Industry: Monika Linton, Brindisa
• Restaurant of the Year: Hide

“The London Restaurant Festival Awards celebrate the capital’s reputation as one of the world’s leading culinary destinations,” said LRF founder Simon Davis. “It was very hard to pick from this year’s incredible line-up that truly represents the outstanding talent and diversity of the London restaurant scene, and the nominees and winners should all be very proud.”
