With ongoing restrictions on overseas travel set to continue, the summer staycation is likely to be a firm favourite among British holiday makers this year.
To support road users, Welcome Break, one of the UK’s leading motorway service operators, is launching a new offer for those travelling on the nation’s roads.
Launching today (1 July), the ‘Fill Up While You Fill Up’ offer will run for the whole summer, meaning drivers and families travelling to enjoy days out, weekends away and holidays can enjoy this new reward.
Welcome Break will offer all its customers 10p off per litre of fuel when they spend £10 or more at its food courts, providing savings for the millions of travellers and families expected to be hitting the UK roads this summer.
Welcome Break has already supported huge numbers of UK road users over recent weeks, as the onset of the sunnier weather in early June and over the late May bank holiday weekend gave many the inspiration to venture out and about.
The group expects to see continuing high levels of road users as the UK looks to enjoy the British summer. The new fuel offer will be available at Welcome Break’s much-loved brands including Starbucks, KFC, Burger King, Waitrose, Pizza Express and Pret, all of which are now open for customers to enjoy.
John Diviney, CEO at Welcome Break, said,“We are delighted to be supporting this great British staycation summer by helping holiday-makers fuel up for less with this fantastic offer of 10p off per litre of fuel.
'We have already seen many thousands of families and road users pass through our service areas on route to iconic beauty spots, cities and coasts for a well-earned break. We look forward to greeting many more families as they make the most of holidaying at home this summer.”
Welcome Break is also recruiting for a large number of jobs across the country as its service areas return to full capacity. There are team member positions, part and full time, as well as supervisory and management roles, available in most of its brands, as well as the hotels up and down the country.
All of the roles are currently being advertised on Welcome Break’s website and further details can be found at Welcome Break Jobs.
