The London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC) has selected retail, restaurant and leisure real estate agency, P-Three, to lead on the leasing of the key restaurant and catering anchors on London's Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, including 15,800 sq ft (GIA) of restaurant space at East Bank.
Opening later this year, East Bank is a brand-new riverside development set to rival existing cultural and education centres in London such as The South Bank, South Kensington and King's Cross.
Designed to be a place of innovation and creativity, it is home to the BBC, Sadler’s Wells, UAL’s London College of Fashion, University College London and the V&A. The development contains six new prime restaurant units overlooking the river, for which P-Three is focused on securing operators that complement the cultural focus of East Bank.
In addition, P-Three has been appointed to secure operators for the ArcelorMittal Orbit, the UK’s tallest sculpture and world’s longest and tallest tunnel slide created by Anish Kapoor and Cecil Balmond and The Podium, a 14,105 sq ft restaurant space.
Thomas Rose, Co-Founder of P-Three, commented, “Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park is fast becoming one of the most exciting destinations in London, and East Bank is the most significant new addition to London’s cultural landscape for decades.
'The East Bank restaurant units are in a prime location and are ideal for established operators seeking somewhere special to expand, or new concepts inspired by the unique setting and purpose of East Bank.”
Edward Fane, Head of Venues from the LLDC, added, “The Park is an incredible place with millions of visitors drawn here each year by our world-class venues, cultural offer and events as well as two established business districts.
'We are looking for partners who share our ambition and aspirations for the Park and we know that P-Three's knowledge, experience and market insights will help us to attract the very best mix of catering, retail and leisure operators.'
