Elior UK has successfully secured a catering and cleaning contract with the James Hutton Institute in Scotland. The financial details of the contract remain undisclosed.
Under the agreement, the contract caterer will deliver services to the research organisation's two locations: one in Invergowrie near Dundee and the other in Craigiebuckler in Aberdeen.
The Hutton Institute conducts research focused on crops, soil, and land use with the aim of enhancing environmental security.
Elior's team, comprising 37 members including chef managers, chefs, as well as catering and cleaning assistants, will cater to the needs of over 500 employees at the Hutton Institute.
Additionally, the Invergowrie site will witness the launch of a new restaurant this summer, offering further opportunities for guest kitchen events and pop-up dining experiences.
Ian Hadden, facilities manager at the Hutton, said: 'We are excited to be collaborating with Elior as our new partner for all things catering and cleaning. We were impressed by the quality of Elior's proposal and the technical solutions on offer.
'As we welcome the infrastructure development at both our campuses, we look forward to developing our contract with Elior. As our relationship continues, we will be exploring the potential for more formal hospitality as well as developing the catering options for everyone on site.'
Calum McLaren, regional managing director of Elior UK, added: 'The James Hutton Institute is exactly the type of organisation we love to work with. An institution that is working towards positive change for the planet aligns fully with our aims and CSR objectives. We are working together to create a contact that can adapt and grow to meet the Institute's needs as it expands, whilst enabling the best service provision.'
Elior UK operates as a division of Elior Group, a company that boasts annual revenues of £5 billion.
