Weetabix parent company Post Holdings has appointed a new managing director for the cereal brand as it names a new leader of its refrigerated retail unit.
Effective from 1st October, Colm O'Dwyer, the current Commercial Director, will assume the position of Managing Director for the manufacturer. Sally Abbott, the incumbent, will transition to a strategic advisor role leading up to her planned retirement on 31st March 2025.
O'Dwyer joined Weetabix from Coca-Cola Enterprises in the UK in 2016, initially serving in various roles before becoming the general manager of the Weetabix On-The-Go business. Since 2018, he has held the position of Commercial Director, and in 2022, he took on additional responsibilities for Weetabix's international business.

Abbott and O’Dwyer will collaborate closely until March next year to facilitate a seamless business transition. Meanwhile, Weetabix will assess potential candidates to fill the role of Commercial Director.
Post Holdings has additionally appointed Mike McCoy to assume the position of President and Chief Executive Officer of its Refrigerated Retail Business, effective from 1st October 2024. McCoy will succeed Mark Delahanty, who will transition to a strategic advisor role before retiring on 31st May 2025.
McCoy brings extensive industry experience to his new role, having served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for the business since 2019. His tenure with Post began in 2014 as Vice President of Internal Audit. Following Post's acquisition of Bob Evans Farms in 2018, McCoy assumed the role of Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer for the company.
