Lesya Batsuk has been promoted to Group Finance Manager at Hotel Co 51, where she will lead the company’s Finance Department. A seasoned financial leader with 17 years of strategic accounting experience, Lesya is known for her strong skills in budgeting and planning.
Before joining the hotel management company in 2021, Lesya spent over eight years in a senior financial management role at Intertrust Group. There, she gained valuable experience working with international clients, adeptly managing statutory regulations across various European jurisdictions and adapting to diverse reporting technologies.
Since joining Hotel Co 51, Lesya has played a key role in building the company’s centralised finance structure and implementing financial systems across Europe from its Amsterdam headquarters. During this time, Hotel Co 51's portfolio has grown to 42 properties spanning five Marriott International brands in eight countries.
With the assistance of five direct reports, Lesya leads a diverse team of 29 members representing 15 nationalities and speaking 20 languages. She is responsible for driving efficiencies within the organisation and developing ethical financial processes that align with the company’s commitment to high-performing, sustainable hotels.
This marks the hotel operator’s second internal promotion to its senior leadership team in recent months, following Wayne Androliakos's appointment as CEO of Hotel Co 51 in June 2024.
Hotel Co 51 CEO, Wayne Androliakos, said: “Lesya’s contributions to Hotel Co 51’s financial operations over the last three years have been invaluable, with her experience of managing complex legislations a particular asset as we’ve scaled up the business across diverse European countries.
“We are passionate about developing internal talent and delighted to promote Lesya to her new role. I am confident that Hotel Co 51’s finance department will continue to thrive under Lesya’s resourceful leadership.”
