Pub group Stonegate has acquired 15 pubs from Scottish firm the Maclay Group, which were on the market for £11.7m.
The Maclay Group, which went into administration in January this year, has sold the pubs situated in areas such as Glasgow's West End and St Andrews, as well as those close to Edinburgh University.
Stonegate, which operates around 602 pubs across the UK, has reinvested the funds from site disposals into these 15 newly-acquired pubs.
