Azzurri Group, formerly Gondola, is set to acquire London-based Italian food and coffee operator, Coco di Mama for an undisclosed sum,
The purchase will mean that the firm behind ASK and Zizzi will now own a slice of the quick service pie, and plans are in place to grow the Italian brand from 6 to 40 outlets over the next few years.
Coco di Mama's co-founders, Jeremy Sanders and Daniel Land (pictured), will stay within the company to oversea the rollout.
The Italian cafe brand serves 30,000 customers a week and serves up handmade pasta, pasta bakes, baguettes, and freshly ground Allpress coffee.
