John Lewis to open £14m revamped department in September

John Lewis’ home department at its flagship store on Oxford Street is set to reopen in September following a £14m revamp and eight months closure.

The new unit will offer the largest range of home products of any store in the UK. It will cover 94,000 sq ft across two floors of the shop and be split into 24 distinct 'rooms', similar to the layout employed in stores such as Ikea.

The store offers a variety of eateries including Rossopomodoro, a pizza and pasta restaurant, and ham holy burger, a burger restaurant, both on the third Floor, Coffee Shop on the fourth floor, and The Place to Eat on the fifth floor.
