Cineworld is to open its second cinema in Newport, which will be situated in the new Friars Walk shopping centre, in 12 November, with the creation of 40 jobs.
The new cinema will feature a Baskin Robbins, as well as eight state-of-the-art screens showing the very latest releases.
Other brands at the 390,000-sq ft retail and leisure scheme in the heart of the city include Krispy Kreme, and Debenhams. There will be 35 retail units, 11 restaurants, 350 parking spaces and a major new bus station interchange.
Cineworld UK consists of 82 cinemas, 80 of which are located in the UK, with one each in Ireland and Jersey.
