Brunning & Price plans estate expansion with 10 new pubs

The Restaurant Group-owned pub firm, Brunning & Price is searching for new sites for its expanding portfolio.

Christie + Co is assisting in the search for another 10 sites next year with four already in the pipeline. Locations sought are between Lancashire and Kent in rural, semi rural or urban sites within plots of at least 1.25 acres with the ability to create a bar restaurant venue seating at least 120 people.

Most recently Brunning & Price acquired three sites including The Wobbly Wheel, near Banbury, The Jolly Farmers, Betchworth (pictured), and The Fox Revived, Horley.

Simon Chaplin, Director, Corporate Pubs & Restaurants at Christie + Co, said, “We’re very pleased to have a flourishing and long standing relationship with Brunning & Price leading to their most recent successful purchases of these three pubs in the last few months.

“As they continue with expansion outside of their current core area of the North West and the South East, we are looking for suitable buildings and sites throughout the West Midlands and around locations such as Milton Keynes, York, Stratford Upon Avon, Oxford and Cheltenham as well as along the M4 to bring their individual style and quality to a wider audience.”
