Restaurant operator, Polpo has secured funding for a new stage of growth as it expands outside of London for the first time.
Currently operating eight Polpo restaurants offering Venetian small plates, the group will open its first regional outlet in Brighton, along with another London site, Polpo Lewisham, which is due to open by the end of the year.
Founded by Russell Norman in 2009, the company said it is exploring university and market towns for further regional launches.
The company also operate three other restaurants in London: Polpetto, Spuntino and Mishkins.
