Stonegate sees turnover soar by impressive £87.4m


Stonegate Pub Company has posted its financial results for the year to 28 September 2014, showing that turnover has risen by a staggering £87.4m.

Revenue stood at £557.7m up from £470.3m in the previous year. Operating and pre-tax profits (before exceptional items) rose from £24.9m to £31.6m, and from £3.5m to £6.9m respectively.

During the period, the company acquired 78 sites from Bramwell Pub Company, which entered administration.

Stonegate Pub Company's latest acquisition is the White Hart in Crowborough, East Sussex. The pub, will re-open as The White Hart on the Green in early October following a £500k investment. The pub will reopen under the firm’s Classic segment.

Owned by private equity firm TDR, Stonegate Pub Company operates more than 600 pubs across the UK branded and employs over 12,000 staff.
