Turtle Bay to open in Cardiff in December

Rapidly expanding Caribbean restaurant chain, Turtle Bay is to open its first Cardiff outlet in December.

Creating 60 jobs, the company is investing £800k in the new 5,000 sq ft site, which will be its 23rd restaurant.

The brand specialises in authentic jerk pit barbecue dishes which are marinated with herbs and spices, then flame grilled over allspice (Jamaica pepper) and thyme wood.

Founded in 2010 by Las Iguanas co-founder, Ajith Jayawickrema and Stephen Entwistle, Turtle Bay has plans to open further sites in 2016.
