Byron to open first outlet in Scotland

Gourmet burger restaurant group, Byron has signed up to make its debut in Scotland, with its first restaurant at Union Square in Aberdeen due to open within the coming months.

Byron, with its 3,751 sq ft unit that will be located on the first floor of the centre next to Handmade Burger Co, will join Union Square’s extensive and varied line-up of restaurants including Thaikhun, Giraffe, Cosmo and Pizza Express.

The restaurant, which will serve its full range of simple, high quality ‘proper hamburgers’ with a choice of classic accoutrements, will be completely unique in its design, featuring pink neon signage, vintage furniture and sleek leather seating, providing customers with a light, bright and modern dining environment.

Since opening in 2009, Union Square quickly established itself as a central part of the city’s retail, dining and leisure offer and has successfully continued to attract both new and established retailers and restaurants to Aberdeen. Other restaurant firsts at Union Square include a new concept from the Patisserie Valerie group, the first Scottish Las Iguanas and Aberdeen’s first YO! Sushi.
