Mitie's catering business has been appointed by Vodafone UK to deliver food services across its national property portfolio.
The four-and-a-half-year contract will see Gather & Gather serving 9,000 staff members every day across 12 different locations.
The caterer reports that Vodafone reached its decision after an innovative and competitive tender process that pitched it against a number of leading service providers. Gather & Gather says it won by demonstrating how it tailors its food services to individual clients, supported by its vision of bringing food and people together in the workplace. As a result, Vodafone felt that the caterer was ideally placed to support its own aspiration to create inspirational dining spaces for its employees.
