Boparan Restaurants-owned Harry Ramsden’s is set to open over 300 new fish and chip outlets in the UK and Ireland in the next five years.
The new openings would create around 5,000 jobs and would be both company-owned stores and franchises.
CEO of Harry Ramsden’s, Joe Teixeira said, “Following the successful turnaround of Harry Ramsden’s in the last three years, we have a clearly defined strategy driving the reinvigorated brand, focusing on customers and our people to grow aggressively offering the Harry Ramsden’s proposition to a wider demographic profile”.
Harry Ramsden’s currently operates 41 sites across the UK and Ireland.
Boparan Restaurants also intends to expand FishWorks from two outlets to around 50 over the coming years.
