Brewer and pub operator, Marston's has named the pub-restaurant it is planning to build on an existing Asda overflow car park at Ingram, Birch Green in Skelmersdale, West Lancashire.
The 180-cover restaurant will be called the Miner's Peg, be traditionally designed, and will be targeted at families and those wanting to dine.
Marston's aims to secure inward investment of over £2m and create between 40 to 50 full-time permanent jobs for local residents.
The new build pub will feature a covered terraced area and a garden with a children's play area. It will have 55 parking spaces.
