Drake & Morgan to open first airport restaurant & bar at Heathrow T4

Drake & Morgan is set to open its first airport restaurant and bar at Heathrow’s Terminal 4 this summer, in a joint venture with the global hospitality and food service provider, Delaware North.

Located airside in the terminal, The Commission by Drake & Morgan will be a new casual all-day dining concept created exclusively for the airport.

The Commission will occupy 4,800 sq ft and will offer 170 covers and will be open every day from first to last flight.

With a focus on seasonality, provenance and sustainability, the menu will offer the brand’s signature all-day menu, from breakfast and brunch through to lunch and supper, coffees and cocktails. In addition, the airport site will offer a grab and go format for those passengers who like to have an ‘on-board picnic’ when they fly.

Jillian MacLean, Managing Director, Drake & Morgan commented, “Our all-day bar and dining format is ideal for transport hubs and we are working closely with Delaware North to deliver a fresh new concept designed specifically to appeal to travellers, from business passengers through to families”.

Doug Tetley, Managing Director, Delaware North said, “We are so excited to be working with Jillian and the team at Drake & Morgan. I am confident that The Commission with its unique offer that ranges from breakfast through to cocktails will appeal to the wide cross-section of travellers arriving at Terminal 4”.

Ben Crowley, Heathrow’s Head of Food and Beverage, added, “Drake & Morgan is an incredibly exciting brand and I am delighted to welcome them to Heathrow. We have been keen to expand the bar concepts available at Heathrow for some time and this proposal will provide a real point of difference for Terminal 4 with a quintessentially British touch”.
