Travelodge opens Bicester hotel with new offer for Chinese visitors


Travelodge, the UK’s largest independent hotel brand, has opened a 53-room hotel in Bicester, offering a new service catering to Chinese visitors.

The new venue, which takes the firm's estate to 530 sites, is located close to designer outlet, Bicester Village, which is the second largest attraction after Buckingham Palace for Chinese visitors.

This new service includes offering customers noodle kettles, Oriental snack boxes, green tea, and the team have been taught welcome phrases in Mandarin.

The Bicester hotel is the Travelodge's fourth local council partnership development. Cherwell District Council funded the construction of this hotel on council land and Travelodge has undertaken a 25- year rental agreement to operate the hotel.
