White Brasserie Co to open Surrey pub this month

The White Brasserie Company is set open its tenth pub, the Victoria in Oxshott, Surrey this month, as part of its expansion plans to roll out 20 pubs over the next three years.

The 64-cover brasserie and 32-seat bar will offer a seasonal menu with a French twist. Dishes will include Seared Cornish king scallops, Slow-cooked boeuf bourguignon with creamy mashed potatoes, and Pan-fried chickpea & coriander cakes. Half portions of many of the a la carte dishes will be available for children.

The wine list will feature a selection from the Chapel Down Winery in kent, and guest beers- like Sheer Drop from Surrey Hills Brewery and Hophead from Dark Star - will also be served.

The company acquired the property in January and has since invested in the refurbishment. The Victoria is an iconic, long established business with the same tenant having been in occupation since 1977. It has been frequented over the years by many famous faces, including the snooker player Jimmy White and more recently a number of Chelsea footballers, who live locally.
