The operator of around 2,000 pubs, Marston's has submitted outline plans to the city council for a 39-bed inn situated in Derby, in response to a growing demand for value for money accommodation.
The new Linville Close pub will replace the current pub on the site, The Blue Jay. The pub giant aims to build a two-storey with 39 en-suite bedrooms, including a number of family rooms and rooms with disabled access.
Marston's currently operates 36 inns from its impressive portfolio, all of which serve up a free continental or cooked breakfast to their guests.
