Work has begun to transform the Oasis Food Court at Sheffield's Meadowhall shopping centre. The £7m project will create the new 61,000sq ft dining area and is due to be completed by October.
There will be a formal 34,000sq ft dining hall on the upper level and a 27,000sq ft lower level featuring three new kiosks and a mezzanine.
Five new restaurants will be opening, including Giraffe. Key brands opened at the centre last year including TGI Friday's, Wagamama and Café Rouge.
