New Gary Usher restaurant to open this October in Didsbury

Gary Usher's new Greater Manchester restaurant is set to open on 7 October in Didsbury not Chorlton as originally planned.

Due to the Chorlton deal falling through, the crowedfunded Hispi will take over the former site of Jem and I on School Lane in Didsbury village.

Usher's Kickstarter campaign saw over 700 supporters pledging almost £60k towards the project.

Chef patron Gary Usher already owns two award-winning restaurants. The Sticky Walnut in Hoole, Chester opened in 2011, and the Kickstarter crowdfunded, Burnt Truffle in Heswall, on the Wirral, opened in 2014.
