Deltic to close another Oceana nightclub to relaunch as Pryzm

The Deltic Group's nightclub in Plymouth, Oceana, will close on 15 October before relaunching as Pryzm and a Steinbeck & Shaw late night bar on 28 October.

Nottingham Pryzm has just opened following a major £850k revamp, and now features a Bavarian beer bar and gold VIP booths.

Seven Oceana clubs have already been converted to PRYZM including those in Brighton, Bristol, Cardiff, Kingston upon Thames, Birmingham, Nottingham and Leeds. After the Plymouth closure, there will only be two Oceana clubs which are in Southampton and Watford.

Shoreditch-inspired Steinbeck & Shaw was first launched in Canterbury in August 2015, followed by Hull, Bristol and Cardiff. Sites feature walls of graffiti art, skull imagery and modern sculptures.

The new Pryzm's main arena will showcase the latest light and sound technology, and frequently hosting international guest DJs and celebrities.

Also, the site will offer a more intimate room, Curve, with DJs playing the latest R&B chart tracks, plus a retro-style disco room called Vinyl will feature a flashing dance floor and glitter balls.

The bar will offer an extensive range of freshly prepared cocktails, along with a premium drinks range of spirits, wines and craft beers.
