Whitbread-owned Premier Inn has opened a new £4m hotel in on Bakewell Road in Matlock, Derbyshire.
The family-friendly hotel offers 58 bedrooms, which feature 40” flat screen TVs, modern bathrooms with large shower-heads, and Hypnos beds.
The hotel's Thyme restaurant provides contemporary and traditional British cuisine. Guests can enjoy an all-you-can-eat breakfast for £8.99 where children eat for free, with continental breakfasts starting at £6.99.
A total of 26 jobs have been created by the hotel chain’s latest development, with three team members being enrolled on an apprenticeship scheme and eight being previously long-term unemployed.
As the UK's largest hotel chain, Premier Inn operates over 700 hotels across the UK. This new opening is part of the firm's expansion plans that will see it extend its current number of bedrooms UK-wide to 85,000 by 2020.
