Kudos clinches £8m deal with Blackfriars events venue


Crown-owned catering firm, Kudos has been awarded a seven-year deal worth £8m with The Mermaid, an events venue in London's Blackfriars.

The Mermaid features a 600-seater auditorium, River Rooms and Queenhithe, plus a large white box breakout space.

The new contract will see Kudos work with The Mermaid to introduce a brand new range of innovative food concepts and menus for meetings, weddings and events.

Kudos landed the deal after a highly contested tendering process involving a host of large and small catering companies.
