Leon to open 40th store this weekend with digital menu boards

Healthy fast food chain, Leon will open its 40th store this weekend [Sunday 25 September] in Brighton, as part of its planned UK expansion. It will be the first Leon to use digital menu boards, which will speed up the switch in day parts and allow for speedy implementation of deals and offers. It will also offer delivery with the help of Deliveroo.

The store carries a menu that will include new items such as an exclusive new chicken satay salad, made in collaboration with chef, food writer and TV presenter, Gizzi Erskine. But it will also give guests the opportunity to try dishes that have been on the menu since the first Leon opened in London’s Carnaby Street in 2004 ...such as the Moroccan meatball hotbox, the signature fish finger wrap, and the original super food salad.

To celebrate the 40th store team members will be cycling around Brighton handing out vouchers and free ice lollies. They’ll also be rewarding fellow cyclists with free coffee vouchers.

CEO John Vincent (pictured) said, “We are overwhelmed by Leon lovers asking us to open in their city and have already received a big warm welcome from Brighton neighbours and guests. We will open in Oxford this autumn and plan to open 50 more Leons around the UK in the next four years, in high streets, railway stations and shopping centres, wherever people need us.”

The new store has created 15 jobs in the area and will provide seating for 48 guests at a time. It will initially open from 7.30-10PM Monday to Friday, 7am-9m Saturday and 8am to 8pm Sunday.

As with other Leon stores it will offer a 15% discount to students and NHS staff.
