Two major brands, Leon and Wasabi, are set to open on Cornmarket Street in Oxford, a major shopping street and pedestrian precinct.
Helathy fast food chain, Leon is preparing to open a new outlet in a unit on the site of the former HMV store, which closed in 2014. The new eatery is expected to be open before the end of the year.
Leon was formed in 2004 and operates 37 sites - plus one opened in Amsterdam in July.
Wasabi launched in 2003, opening its first branch on London's Embankment. It serves up handmade sushi and hot food bento boxes, featuring hearty Japanese classics like chicken katsu curry.
Wasabi currently runs 47 outlets, 41 of which are in London.
The two new outlets will join other food and beverage offers in the precinct including Itsu, Pret A Manger, Starbucks, McDonalds and Burger King.
