BAO launches Taiwanese-inspired hot drinks menu today

As temperatures get colder, the founders of BAO – Shing Tat Chung, Wai Ting Chung and Erchen Chang, have created a new Taiwanese-inspired hot drinks menu for the first time, providing the perfect winter warmer during the cold months ahead.

Launching today, the new drinks menu will be available for those waiting in the queue at both Soho and Fitzrovia BAO restaurants, and can also be ordered once inside the restaurant, as well as take away for busy customers on the go.

The new BAO hot drinks menu will offer customers a range of new creations, each inspired by and using traditional Taiwanese ingredients. The Hot chocolate with salted plum, malt & Kavalan port finish takes the sweetness of chocolate and gives it a savoury punch with Kavalan malt whisky, which balances perfectly with the fruity flavours of salted plum.

Alongside this is the Hot Spiced clementine, ginger & sake – a refreshing festive drink that takes umami flavours from Ancient Mountain sake and combines them with the sour notes and spices from clementine and ginger.
