Timmy Green opens at Nova Food


Timmy Green has officially opened its doors at Nova Food, London Victoria's newest upscale development.

Timmy Green is the latest Australian-inspired restaurant from restaurateur Prue Freeman, and it’s named in honour of her late brother, who was an Aussie cowboy who lived off the land.

This is the second eatery to open since Sourced Market launched at the end of last year, and it spearheads a host of new bars and restaurants coming soon.

The new 150-cover restaurant is set over two floors with alfresco coffee bar, extended outdoor seating area and mini grand piano which moves effortlessly from casual coffee spot to buzzing evening bar and restaurant. Extensive local craft beers are served alongside an almost all Australian natural wine list and innovative cocktails in the all day-bar.

Food-wise, Timmy Green focuses on prime grass-fed meats and tasty small plates alongside the ever-popular Aussie brunch. The grass-fed, slow reared steaks which are aged for 28 - 60 days dependent on their cut by local Bermondsey (Aussie born) Butcher & cooked over the Josper's 500 degree coals.

Other dishes include House Cured Wild Salmon, London gin, tarragon, grapefruit, whipped avocadd, and the famous Banana Bread Sandwich with mascarpone, berries, honey & almonds.
