Fourth celebrates year of global expansion

Fourth, the leading software partner to the hospitality industry, looks set to build on a transformational 2016, where it expanded its reach across the globe, adding a series of notable client partnerships in territories around the world to its portfolio.

Over the past 12 months, the software provider secured deals in multiple countries – including Australia, Europe, the USA and the United Arab Emirates – for its innovative hospitality platform that helps hospitality companies optimise revenue and profit via smart workforce planning, purchase to pay and inventory management.

The new client wins, which span the hospitality sector, invested in a combination of its workforce management solution, purchase-to-pay and inventory solution; and analytics tools to deliver on-demand insight from a 360 view of all their data.

Operators who either became new customers or added to their existing Fourth solution include: Dubai Parks, TGI Friday’s, Hakkasan, AB InBev and Bidvest; along with UK stalwarts, Malmaison, Enterprise Inns, Riley’s Sports Bars, Drake & Morgan and Honest Burgers to name a few.

Ben Hood, Fourth’s CEO said, “We are excited by the opportunities we have to support the hospitality industry on a global level, and are buoyed by a truly transformational past 12 months. Our platform now operates in sixty countries, supporting more than 50,000 sites.

'One of the key trends in the sector is the flight to better, smarter, faster and more efficient ways of working. This inevitably means harnessing the power of connected systems that help operators increase profitability, improve customer service and scale confidently.

“In light of this we are seeing high demand for our cloud based solutions. The demand for these better systems and better ways of working can only accelerate given the significant cost headwinds the industry is facing, including legislative challenges, cost-of-goods inflation, and the highly-competitive nature of the trading environment.”
