Midcounties Co-op launches hot food-to-go franchise at Leamington Spa

The Midcounties Co-operative Food has welcomed a new food-to-go franchise to its Regency Arcade store in Leamington Spa, with the arrival of its first Chozen Noodle outlet.

The Asian-inspired fast-food franchise is now open and its arrival is part of a £230k refit of The Midcounties Co-operative Food store. Chozen Noodle offers a wider range of food-to-go options for shoppers, within a store that has traditionally been a popular lunchtime stop for office workers and students because of its central location.

The renovation has also introduced a modern new look to the Food store and more space for an improved range of products including bakery, confectionary, health and beauty and everyday grocery ranges.

Following the arrival of the Chozen Noodle outlet in Leamington Spa, The Midcounties Co-operative Food is now exploring similar opportunities at other stores as it looks to widen its hot food offer.

Stacy Baker, manager of The Midcounties Co-operative Food in Leamington Spa, said, “Our town centre location means lunchtime is always one of our busiest periods, so introducing the Chozen Noodle franchise means we can provide even more food-to-go options for our customers.

“We’ve always prided ourselves on offering a great service, and we hope that this renovation will make our customers’ experience even better by modernising the store and offering a wider range of products to shoppers.”
