Greene King Pub Partners has teamed up with Retail Impact Solutions to provide a low cost way for its tenanted and leased pubs to build and maintain their own websites.

The full website construction and updating service means licensees can be confident their pubs will have the right online presence to drive trade.

A growing number of customers search for a pub online before deciding where to spend their money making a professionally designed website with up-to-date content essential for generating sales.

Retail Impact Solutions is a company experienced in producing flexible digital marketing campaigns and who understand what it takes to give pubs the right online presence. They have extensive operational, implementation and marketing experience within the hospitality sector.

Their excellent value website design package includes ongoing maintenance and management of the site for the first year then help updating social media for the duration of the licensee’s tenure.

The package incorporates a site visit and photography. Greene King is part-funding the websites so the service is accessible for all pubs.

The partnership means licensees can select from a broad range of website launch packages, ranging from entry level (bronze) to premium (gold).

Retail Impact Solutions can also provide training and have support packages available to manage a pub’s Facebook, Twitter and Instagram sites should they require assistance with their social media output.

At the same time, Greene King Pub Partners has produced a toolkit for licensees outlining all the digital support services on offer.

This includes detail of how to set up a wi-fi network within a pub for guests, details of website plug-in services to enhance output as well as further digital training, including a marketing through social media course.

All of Greene King’s online ordering is now through one platform www.pubpartners.net and is open 24/7 so that licensees are not limited to securing their products during office hours.

The website highlights any drinks deals open to licensees, including flash sales on a first come first served basis.

Clive Chesser, managing director of Greene King Pub Partners, said: “As we continue to embrace the digital world, we want our pubs to do so, too.

“By launching a new website service, the aim is to ease licensees’ workloads by taking the managing of online communications away from them.

“Having it looked after professionally, means they can be assured their website is being regularly updated and showcases what the pub offers to both regular and potential customers.

“We know people increasingly look online for which pubs to spend their money at and we want to take away any licensees’ worries they may be falling behind their competitors by not having a website which best shows off their business.

“This is part of a wider strategy of providing the right digital solutions for licensees including the further development of our online ordering which can now be accessed from one platform.”

Andy Mullin, Senior Commercial Partner of Retail Impact Solutions, said: “We are very pleased and excited to become a Digital Partner with Greene King Pub Partners as they roll out their digital strategy and excellent support packages for licensees.

“We believe that our extensive industry experience and intimate knowledge of pub operations, coupled to a modern digital approach to marketing, can only help licensees embrace the rapidly changing digital landscape.

“RIS will help these businesses drive profitable footfall, implement digital marketing strategies and improve their social media platforms.”
