Sea Containers at Mondrian London to launch US-British brunch

Sea Containers, the riverside restaurant at Mondrian London hotel, has announced the launch of a new American-British weekend brunch menu on Saturday 1 April, and will be available Saturday and Sunday from 12-4pm

The menu seeks to celebrate British sourced ingredients in an American style, echoing the trans-Atlantic history of the Sea Containers building and the ethos of Mondrian London.

New dishes include the Brooklyn Sandwich; buttermilk waffles served with crispy bacon, Canadian maple syrup & vanilla ice cream, the Crab Omelette; Portland crab served with avocado, heritage tomato, jalapeño & coriander and The Reuben; a sandwich of salt beef, melted smoked cheddar, pickle & sauerkraut. There will also be sharing roasts served both days, as well as lighter options such as kale and cobb salads.

The restaurant, with views of the Thames and St. Pauls, will serve boozy hard shakes, such as the ‘Mississippi Mudslide’, a shake of Bulleit Bourbon, chocolate, and orange zest, and ‘The Big O-reo’, a shake of Jim Bean Double Oak, vanilla, Oreo cookie and whipped cream.

Guests can also beat their hangovers with Bottomless Grey Goose Bloody Mary’s. Tailor made, guests can juice their own tomatoes and garnish to preference with herbs and fresh ingredients from the specially made Grey Goose Bloody Mary Market Cart. While bottomless prosecco will also be available for a supplement.

With floor-to-ceiling windows which open fully during summer months, Sea Containers will be the perfect space to enjoy a weekend brunch with views of the London riverside.
