MEATliquor to open within iconic London lesiure site

MEATliquor has become the exclusive food and beverage partner for Queens: Skate-Dine-Bowl in Queensway, west London, and will open within the iconic site on 5 May.

This type of partnership is a first for the MEATliquor group and will offer customers the opportunity to bowl and skate whilst enjoying classic dishes and signature cocktails.

MEATliquor at Queens will be open seven days a week, 364 days a year and feature a 200-capacity bar and 80-cover diner overlooking the 12 bowling lanes. The full menu will be served from midday – 11pm on weekdays and to midnight at weekends. As part of the offering, all customers will be able to enjoy lane side dining as MEATliquor food and drinks will be served directly to team tables.

Scott Collins, MEATliquor Co-Founder & Managing Director, said, “The ethos of MEATliquor is one built on offering a destination for people who want to go out but without growing up – something Queens completely epitomises. We hope that by bringing the MEATliquor approach to Queens we can provide a one- stop fun shop, something for everyone and all ages.'

Queens: Skate-Dine-Bowl, a London favourite since the 1930s, was given a major makeover last year and reopened mid-December.

MEATliquor was started by Yianni Papoutsis and Scott Collins and moved from a burger van – Meatwagon way back in January 2011. The first permanent MEATliquor followed swiftly in November 2011 and there are now 11 sites across the UK, including London in W1, Islington, Hoxton, East Dulwich, Brixton, Croydon and Covent Garden.
