The Restaurant Group plc (TRG) has today announced that Barry Nightingale, Chief Financial Officer, will step down from the Board and leave the Company with immediate effect.
The Board has commenced a search for a new Chief Financial Officer and will update the market in due course.
Debbie Hewitt, Chairman, said, 'On behalf of the Board, I would like to thank Barry for the valuable contribution that he has made over the past year, as we began the Company's turnaround process, which continues to progress well. We wish him all the best for the future.'
TRG operates over 500 restaurants and pubs in the UK’s casual dining sector, with a plan to double in size over the next 8 to 10 years.
The company serves over 43 million meals each year through its brands, which include Frankie & Benny's, Chiquito, Coast to Coast, Garfunkel’s, Brunning & Price and Joe's Kitchen.
It also operates a Concessions business which trades over 60 outlets across more than 30 brands, primarily in UK airports.
